The opening speech was made by "Lecturer Dr. Eşref NAS" on Thursday, 05.10.2023 to first grade students. The program continued with the introductory speech of "Lecturer Dr. Yavuz KOŞAN", head of the psychology department. did. Then, the faculty members working in the department, "Lecturer Dr. Kenan ALPARSLAN, Lecturer Dr. Şahabettin MUTLU, Research Assistant Murat ARGIŞ and Research Assistant Muhammed Seyid Raşid BAHÇIVAN" introduced themselves.
After the introduction, information was given about the university, faculty and department websites, as well as the psychology department. Additionally, the 2023-2024 academic calendar was shared and information was provided about the courses in the department.
Accompanying the program was the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, "Lecturer Dr. Esra ÇIPLAK", who provided information about student exchange programs and TUBITAK projects.
The president of the psychology community, Ayşe MENEKŞE, and her assistant Filiz SUCU gave information about the community, and the membership process and activities carried out by the community were mentioned.
Transportation of students to the campus area was discussed. The dining hall, library, student affairs, social and cultural units were introduced.
Information about undergraduate education and examination regulations was given and its content was shared with the students.
The WhatsApp group in which the students participated, the purpose of the group and the sharing of content were touched upon.
The program ended with receiving students' opinions and questions.
