General Information
The Undergraduate Program in Psychology at Muş Alparslan University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, began admitting students in the 2021–2022 academic year. The program aims to educate professionals who are competent in various subfields of psychology, possess a scientific perspective, and adhere to ethical principles. It is structured to ensure that students acquire both strong theoretical knowledge and essential skills in practice and research. In this context, the program seeks to graduate qualified individuals who can follow current scientific developments in the field and apply their knowledge at a fundamental level.
To graduate from the program, students are required to successfully complete a total of 240 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits. The Psychology Undergraduate Program is conducted in Turkish, offered as a full-time program, and designed to be completed within four years.
Graduates of the program have a wide range of employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors, particularly within institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of National Education. They may work in hospitals, universities, nurseries and kindergartens, nursing homes, correctional facilities, family courts, psychotechnical assessment centers, special education and rehabilitation centers, counseling centers, research centers, as well as in various fields such as industry and organizations, human resources, advertising, and media.
In this respect, the program aims to provide students with a strong academic and professional foundation, offering diverse and versatile career opportunities.
